Tracy Rattray - Expert Grief Counsellor based in Joondalup, Perth

I’m Tracy, Licenced Grief Counsellor & End-of-Life Doula.

Every person’s journey through grief and loss is unique and profoundly challenging, and no one should have to face it alone.

I have dedicated my life to turning towards the pain and loss that others often turn away from. While working in the hospice setting in Houston, Texas, I experienced firsthand the critical importance of showing up for those navigating grief, loss, and end-of-life transitions. This experience, along with my specialised training, informs my counselling approach.

My counselling centers entirely on you — your story, your journey, and your healing. In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding how grief has impacted your life. Together, we’ll explore ways to honour your experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and take steps toward healing that feels meaningful and empowering to you

I'm Caroline, Post-Graduate Qualified Counsellor

I bring understanding, warmth and experience combined with evidence-based counselling approaches to walk alongside you.

I am trained in person-centred therapy, which means I offer a safe, understanding and non-judgemental environment, where you will feel genuinely seen and heard. This therapy is grounded in the belief that genuine acceptance is the start of transformation and change.

My approach is influenced by two decades of working in public policy roles and managing several teams. I like to ensure that sessions are provided professionally, that we identify your key areas of concern and that we work towards a valuable outcome for you.

After my husband passed, I felt completely lost. I was hesitant to talk to anyone, but Tracy was so patient and kind. It wasn’t about ‘fixing’ me, but about giving me a safe space to just be. I found a sense of peace I didn’t think was possible. I’m so grateful for her understanding and support.’’

Healing from grief requires more than just time.

Are you carrying a loss that feels too heavy, too complex, or too unique to share with just anyone? Healing from grief requires more than just time. It requires a space where your unique experience is truly seen and supported.
